Kenz Nadler is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at the Center for Youth Mental Health (CYMH), where she works under the supervision of Dr. Ramona Friedman. She earned her Master of Science in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families, with a clinical focus on childhood anxiety, neurodevelopmental differences, and trauma. Before becoming a therapist, Kenz spent several years leading backpacking, kayaking, and adventure-based programs for neurodivergent youth. She also specialized in providing trauma-informed therapy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Kenz understands the unique challenges children and adolescents face today and believes meaningful change happens when young people feel understood, supported, and empowered. She believes that it truly takes a village to raise a child and values partnering closely with families in the therapeutic process to help children build a cohesive sense of resilience, confidence, and connection. Outside of her clinical work, she co-leads an outdoor nonprofit in Kenya. She enjoys mountain biking, trail running, and spending as much time on trail as possible.
