Kerri has been part of the CYMH journey since its inception, helping shape the organization’s vision, programs, and impact from the very beginning. As Director of Operations, she provides strategic leadership, oversees organizational growth, and works collaboratively to ensure CYMH continues to deliver meaningful support for students, families, educators, and communities.

With a professional background spanning psychology, coaching, mental health education, conflict resolution, and student development, Kerri is passionate about creating environments where people can thrive. She believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Her leadership focuses on building systems, programs, and partnerships that empower both individuals and the communities that support them.

Kerri’s lived experiences, combined with her professional expertise, continue to fuel her commitment to emotional well-being and prevention-focused mental health initiatives. She is known for bringing people together, fostering authentic connections, and helping translate big ideas into practical, high-impact solutions.

Kerri holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development from Cal Poly. She is a Certified Professional Coach, Mental Health Educator, Certified Mediator, entrepreneur, and Co-Founder of Connect Be Well, an innovative grassroots organization dedicated to advancing student and family well-being through collaborative, community-driven solutions.

Above all, Kerri values authenticity and lifelong growth. Family is her foundation, she is a very proud mom of three incredible humans, she understands that life is both beautiful and challenging, and she embraces being a work in progress. She is a recovering perfectionist and people pleaser who believes that vulnerability, connection, and compassion are among our greatest strengths.

Whether she’s collaborating with educators, supporting families, mentoring leaders, enjoying the outdoors, having coffee and conversation with friends, Kerri is driven by a simple purpose: to cultivate hope, inspire resilience, and help create communities where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to flourish.
