Clinical Supervision and Training

The Center for Youth Mental Health provides training and supervision in evidence-based treatments for children, teens, and families.

  • Clinical supervision for master’s-level associates and doctoral trainees
  • Support for clinicians working toward California licensure
  • Training in CBT, ERP, ACT, DBT, and parent-based interventions
  • Advanced ERP training for licensed clinicians
  • Consultation for treating OCD, anxiety, and related disorders
  • Practical, hands-on guidance from experienced doctoral-level supervisors

Supervision and Support

Trainees and associates receive supervision from Dr. Ramona Friedman, Dr. Joshua Greco, and other experienced CYMH clinicians with doctoral degrees who specialize in evidence-based youth mental health care.

Supervision includes individualized feedback, practical guidance, and support in developing confidence and clinical competency. Trainees also become part of a collaborative team committed to expanding access to high-quality care.

Associates and Practicum Students Apply Here

The Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health offers clinical supervision to LMFT, LCSW, and Doctoral Candidates seeking licensure in California. We are unwaveringly committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical supervision that will empower new clinicians with a core set of skills and tools to start a successful practice. We accept up to four trainees and/or associates per year. You will be supervised by highly qualified doctoral-level clinicians with expertise in evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents.
